8 tips to open a closed nose.

Nasal congestion is a common complaint. Nasal congestion is often caused by a cold or flu. Nasal congestion is not caused by mucus, but by swelling of the tissues in the nose. If left untreated, it can cause earaches that can lead to speech and hearing problems. Nasal congestion is usually caused by an allergy or a viral infection.

Whatever the cause of nasal congestion, there are a few simple ways to make breathing easier.

(1). USE OF HUMIDIFIER:

This machine creates moisture in the room through water. Breathing in moisture relaxes the nasal tissues. In addition, humidifier also helps to dilute mucus.This causes the mucus in the nose to flow and the breathing to calm down.

(2). TAKE A HOT SHOWER 🚿:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


When you take a hot shower with a stuffy nose, you feel better after taking a shower because of the steam coming out of the shower which dilutes the mucus in the nose and reduces the swelling. You can also do this by taking a steam through a steamer. After turning on the steamer, when the steam starts to come out, bring your face close to the steam and cover the top with a towel. Take deep breaths and avoid sniffing too fast.

(3). USE WATER 💦:
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


If you have a stuffy nose, drink plenty of water. You can also take this liquid in the form of juice and soup. They also dilute the mucus in the nose and help it to pass out easily.

(4). SOAK A TOWEL IN WARM WATER AND APPLY:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

This process also helps to open the closed nose. Soak a towel in warm water to dry. Squeeze and fold it and place it on the forehead and nose. The heat will reduce pain and swelling.

(5). TAKE ANTI-ALLERGY:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


If the cause of the nasal congestion is an allergy, you should take anti-allergy. It also helps to reduce the swelling of the nose and open the closed nose.

(6). USE OF GARLIC:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


The antiviral and antifungal properties of garlic also help in opening chest infections and stuffy noses.
Put two or three cloves of garlic in a cup of water and boil it. If you want, add half a teaspoon of turmeric in it and drink it daily till you feel comfortable.

(7). STIMULANT:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


Decoction also helps to thin mucus. Take any stimulant of your choice two or three times a day. Mint tea can also be drunk for this. The menthol in it also helps to open the closed nose.

(8).FENUGREEK SEEDS:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


Fenugreek seeds also help to open the closed nose. The warm effect of fenugreek seeds helps in thinning mucus.
Boil one or two teaspoons of chopped fenugreek seeds in a glass of water.
Filter and drink lukewarm.

Drink two or three times a day until you feel better.


Note: Do not drink fenugreek tea during pregnancy.
