In The Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful

Bleeding from the nose is common in children aged 3 to 10 years and is most often caused by nasal congestion or dry air. Sometimes it can be a sign of danger, but usually it is not so serious. Bleeding from the nose often stops on its own. There are a few home remedies that parents can take when their children’s nose bleeds.

1) Stay calm and reassure your child that everything is fine.

2) Sit your child upright in a chair or on your lap and then tilt his head slightly forward.

3) Do not let your child lean on it as it may cause bleeding in the back of the throat and may cause coughing or vomiting. . ..

4) Apply gently to the soft part of the nose with a tissue or clean wet cloth. Apply light pressure to the nose for 10 minutes. Bleeding can happen again if you remove the cloth or tissue quickly.

5) When the child stops bleeding from the nose, rest him and strictly forbid sneezing, rubbing and playing any kind of sports.
